German investment in ElFajah to create 1500 jobs
Every year, Germany asserts its position as one of the leading investors in Tunisia. Despite the hardships that the North African country is going through, the Germans look at it differently, relying in this on their capacity for seeing beyond circumstantial difficulties into the technological potential Tunisia can offer thanks to its skilled workforce and highly qualified professionals.
Today’s good news arrive from the industrial area of ElFajah, where Germany’s Marquardt, specialized in mechatronics, has embarked on the construction of a new industrial unit that will be devoted to the manufacture of automotive components.
The new industrial unit will be built over an area of 124000 m² and it will start operating in 2024. It is expected to create 1500 new jobs thus contributing to the national struggle against unemployment.
