President Kais Saied received on Monday in the Presidential Palace of Carthage Cheikh Mohammed ben Abdelaziz Ben Salah Al Khelifi, the Qatari deputy regional foreign minister and special envoy of Qatar’s Prince Cheikh Tamim ben Hamad Al Thani.
In a statement issued by the Tunisian presidency, Tunisia vowed to work on developing the bilateral relations with Qatar.
The Qatari envoy, who came to Tunisia to communicate a message from Prince Tamim, reaffirmed Qatar’s readiness to provide support to Tunisia while consolidating the bilateral relations with the North African country.
