Manouba University inaugurates first institute that teaches engineering in English

Manouba University, Tunisia, will launch in the upcoming year the project of building first institution that provides training for engineers in the English language.

Jouhaina Gherib, dean of Manouba University, said that studies are underway to start building a modern institute next year and to complete its construction in 5 years.

Tunisia has launched since the early 2000s a national program aimed at promoting the role of the English language within a professional and educational context dominated by the French language.
